One of my favorite things to illustrate is magical places. For Pond Gazer, I wanted to illustrate a place that made the viewer feel like they happened to stumble upon something they were never meant to, a tiny ecosystem tucked away in a larger, seemingly unexplored forest. A nymph tending to her pond, and the small creatures that live there.
