I started working on this illustration after quitting the worst job I've ever had. I was really financially stressed, unearthing some unresolved feelings, and overall feeling hopeless and directionless. I wanted to make a piece that felt like comfort and hope and took me out of this reality and into one that I was making for myself. It had also been a while since I worked on a full body illustration and this little fairy person came together easier than I anticipated them being.
